Angie Whitehurst: The wind of life

The wind of life

Love is the spirit and wind of life.

It moves, it grows, changes, weathers time, erodes sometimes in our presence of mind, though we may not take heed or even care.

When all alone and disconnected, no phone calls, welcome mats or buy me ads in the mail, no treasure ships on the horizon coming in. It is all okay because later on in the day I’m going to see a friendly face going through something just like me.

I look for them, they look for me. We are the backbone of I and them, them and I.

This is the joy of caring.

Friendship and love.
