Michelle Rae Lesher: Homelessly in Love with my children

They understood my pain,
They loved me in spite of being homeless.

My children mean to world to me,
They are a gift from the most high King.

He gave me five to raise in a world that was so cold.
Their attitudes so innocent resilient and strong.

They understood my pain.
My strength was pain fixed.

Smiling, running about shelter to shelter they understood my pain.

Through tears and hugs, so much love.

Homelessly in Love with my children.

We made it through,
It was like running a marathon to the end.
The sweet end.
Time went by so fast.
Two grandchildren added to my basket.

They too understand my pain.
